The award-winning energy documentary series is back with 12 all-new episodes, featuring discussions about the future of energy in the United States and North America.
In season one, the Rational Middle Energy Series created a series of short documentary films to look at the energy challenges we face – from extraction to consumption and its impact on our civilization and environment including perhaps the most important, climate change. The series was called “engaging,” “robust,” and “catalyzing” by experts and journalists across the country and is being used in classrooms, town halls, company boardrooms, and political offices alike with the goal of jumpstarting discussions around how to move forward to a cleaner, more sustainable energy mix.
In season two, the films will dive deeper into subjects like transportation, efficiency/conservation, renewables, and natural gas to begin looking for answers that will allow us to begin solving problems and moving forward with the infinite possibilities afforded us by technological advancement, policy action, and sheer will of humanity.
To celebrate the launch of the new season, Rational Middle director Gregory Kallenberg will be hosting a live Google Hangout event on Thursday, September 5th at 2pm which will include the premiere of “The Future of Renewables” a 15-minute short-doc followed by a panel discussion featuring a host of experts and your questions, in the spirit of open discussion where everyone can participate.
